Photographing a wedding is always something special. It is a day that people look forward to for months, sometimes even years, and for many couples it becomes one of the most meaningful moments of their lives. As a wedding photographer, it is a privilege every time to be part of it and to preserve those memories.

For me, this day carried an extra layer of significance because Emilie and Kevin are two of my closest friends. Photographing their wedding felt deeply personal. I not only knew the story of their relationship, but also the people around them and the small details that made this day uniquely theirs.

On a sun-drenched day in June, Emilie and Kevin exchanged vows during an intimate wedding ceremony at the town hall of Dendermonde. Surrounded by family and close friends, they chose a relaxed and personal celebration, with the focus entirely on each other and their guests. The warm atmosphere, beautiful summer light, and familiar surroundings made this wedding day in Dendermonde a celebration that suited them perfectly.
