As a wedding photographer, it is a privilege to be present and to capture the memories of a wedding day.

For Anja and Bert’s reportage, the dynamic was defined by the contrast between their chosen locations. The day began at the town hall of Bonheiden, a sleek and modern setting that provided a clean, bright start to their wedding day. Afterward, we moved to Antwerp, towards the oasis of tranquility that is the Botanic Sanctuary. The historical character and serene atmosphere of this complex formed a completely different, yet equally powerful backdrop for their story.

We started with a couple's shoot in the inner gardens, where natural light and greenery kept the focus entirely on them. During the follow-up shoot in other areas of the hotel, their children joined us, allowing for spontaneous, unposed moments that completed the gallery. We concluded the day in the hotel chapel, the ideal, intimate setting that perfectly matched the atmosphere of their wedding.
