Every wedding day has its own rhythm. As a documentary wedding photographer, my role is to tell the story of the day without interfering. At Naomi and Nicolas' wedding at De Barrier in Houthalen-Helchteren, this was clearly reflected: from the initial morning nerves to the energy on the dance floor in the evening, it was a day that perfectly captured who they are.
The day was a full celebration hosted at the venue. We started with the preparations and a heartfelt 'first look' in one of the private side rooms, creating an intimate space before the day truly happened. Following this, we conducted a couple's shoot utilizing both the character of the indoor architecture and the natural surroundings of the estate.
The ceremony was held in the heart of the venue, serving as the beautiful focal point of the day. The evening transitions were equally memorable, featuring a captivating first dance and an energetic party. It was a complete wedding day where every moment, from the quiet emotions of the first look to the lively atmosphere of the dance floor, was documented in an authentic and honest way.
I would love to capture your story. Let’s connect.
